Windham Brannon celebrate 60 years of business this year. The Atlanta-based firm has more than 150 associates and support teams that serve businesses and high-net worth clients in multiple industries. The firm will celebrate its anniversary throughout the year with a variety of activities and community initiatives.
UHY Advisors Appoints New Directors
UHY Advisors, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Cynthia Hannafey, CPA, Stacey Massa, CPA, Pamela May, CPA, Keith Moore, CPA, Marian Shaw, CPA and Paul Truber, CPA, all as managing directors and Julie Manteria as Director of Marketing. Hannafey has more than 20 years of experience. Her expertise includes strategic planning and visioning services, portfolio, program and project management, digital transformation services, shared service implementation and optimization and post-merger integration. Hannafey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University, Michael Coles School of Business.
Massa heads the audit and assurance department, where she oversees and provides financial expertise in a variety of audit, business acquisitions/dispositions, efficiency reviews and financial reporting engagements. Massa received her B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Missouri St. Louis, where she is an accounting advisory board member.
May provides responsible tax and attest services to numerous clients in the manufacturing, real estate, wholesale distribution and professional service industries. Her expertise includes corporate and partnership tax planning, compliance and research. May received her B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation from Walsh College.
Moore assists companies with developing and implementing strategic plans to improve operations, protect assets and increase profitability. His expertise includes business expansion transactions, due diligence, financial analysis, profitability and cost cutting analysis, tax strategies, IRS and state tax audits and financing. Moore is a British Standards Institute ISO/QS9000 Certified Auditor and received his B.S. in Accounting from Wayne State University.
Shaw has diversified audit and tax experience in managing the functions of federal, international and state income tax compliance, tax audits, ASC 740 tax provisions, tax research and planning strategies. She received her B.A. in Accounting from City University of New York at Bernard M. Baruch College.
Truber’s expertise includes tax planning, research, consulting and compliance. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Lindenwood University.
In her new role, Manteria is responsible for all marketing initiatives for the Northeast and California offices. She will work closely with industry group leaders to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns.
Haskell & White Promotes Five in Tax and Audit Departments
Haskell & White recently announced the promotion of Gordon Cope, CPA and Rachel Nguyen in the Tax Department and Kellie Kremer, CPA, Thomas Kenaya, CPA and Josiah Vander Poorten in the Audit and Business Advisory Services Department.
Cope has more than five years of experience in public accounting. He assists clients in the real estate, medical device, manufacturing and entertainment industries with tax and estate planning. Cope graduated from the University of Utah with his bachelor’s and master’s degree.
Nguyen’s expertise includes the real estate, life science and manufacturing industries. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton.
Kremer manages all aspects of client engagements, including creating and managing budgets and completing financial statements and audits. She received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach.
Kenaya has more than six years of auditing experience, specializing in the life science and manufacturing industries. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from National University.
Vander Poorten specializes in SEC audits in the nonprofit and real estate sectors. He received his MBA from the University of La Verne and a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.
Sensiba San Filippo Acquires Slater Moffat
Sensiba San Filippo LLP recently announced the acquisition of Slater Moffat Associates, LLP. As part of the acquisition, Slater Moffat Partners, John Slater and John Moffat will join the SSF Partner Group, along with their staff of 18.
Sensiba San Filippo Financial Advisers Announces New Leadership Team
Sensiba San Filippo Financial Advisers, LLC recently announced the appointment of Jason Tripp as Chief Compliance Officer and SSFFA Founder, Steve San Filippo, as Investment Advisor. After establishing the advisory firm with Jerry Krause in 2003, San Filippo has served primarily in operational and management positions. He will serve in a more active role as the firm’s Investment Adviser. Tripp has 16 years of experience serving as a Chief Compliance Officer. Both appointments will help SSFFA in its efforts to serve the wealth management needs of its existing clients while strengthening its affiliation with SSF.

Missouri Society of CPAs recently elected Mark Radetic, managing partner at MarksNelson, to serve on its board. Radetic specializes in auditing, business planning, succession planning and mergers and acquisitions and has been recognized as one of the top managing partners in the U.S. He graduated from Benedictine College.
BerryDunn Principal Elected as President of Telergee Alliance Board
BerryDunn recently announced that Julie Keim, CPA, principal, was elected as chair/president of the board for the Telergee Alliance. Keim has more than 20 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to telecommunications, energy, and diversified commercial businesses.

SASB Board of Directors Announces New Members
The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board recently announced Robert K. Steel, Robert B. Hirth, Jr. and Stephen Haggerty have joined its board of directors. Steel’s extensive experience serving in government service and senior leadership positions.
Hirth, Senior Managing Director at Protiviti, serves as the Chairman of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission. He was inducted into the 2013 American Hall of Distinguished Audit Practitioners.
Haggerty, Deputy Director of Global Research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, co-heads the firm’s global emerging markets equity research group.
Grant Thornton Adds New Staff
Grant Thornton LLP announced that John Lainhart has recently joined its Cyber Risk Advisory practice as a senior strategist, Daryl Buck, CPA as national managing partner of the firm’s Accounting Advisory Services practice and Todd Wall, CPA as office managing partner. In his new role, Lainhart will be responsible for leading the development of Grant Thornton Public Sector’s cybersecurity offering. His has extensive leadership experience in cybersecurity, working with clients such as the Department of Defense, National Security Agency and Social Security Administration, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lainhart is former co-chair of the COBIT 5 Task Force and is currently developing ISACA’s business plan for COBIT as a service. He received his master’s degree in management and supervision from Central Michigan University and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Davis and Elkins College.
Buck has more than 30 years of public accounting and financial leadership experience helping clients optimize their financial reporting processes. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
In his new role, Wall will oversee the Portland office’s Audit, Tax and Advisory service lines, as well as client service, growth and talent development. He has 23 years of public accounting experience providing assurance and business advisory services to public and private companies. Wall received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho.
FloQast Names New Vice President of Sales
FloQast, Inc. recently announce the appointment of Todd Ellwood as vice president of sales. Ellwood has more than 25 years of software sales experience and has served in several leadership positions. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Marshall University.

JOSEPH EVE CPAs recently announced the addition of Trisha Bishop, CAPM as an accounting associate and Dylana Brooks as a financial accounting outsourcing associate. In her new role, Bishop will specialize in Title 31 and casino-related engagements. Margolin, Winer & Evens recently announced it will transition to its fourth generation of leadership with the election of longtime Partner Craig Savell as the next managing partner, succeeding Teddy Selinger.
